What do I need to know about the Avery Guest House?

We serve a full breakfast every day. Early morning coffee/tea and evening dessert are prepared for you.

Check-in time is 3:00 p.m. - check-out at 11:00 a.m. (unless a different time is agreed upon)

MasterCard, Visa, Discover, Personal Check or Cash are accepted for payment.

Weekend one-day stays are limited and based upon availability.

Internet Access / Guest PC / Printer are complimentary.

Ample parking is provided. Garage parking is available for motorcycle or bicycle enthusiasts.

Located just two blocks from Main Street, the Avery Guest House is within walking distance of shops, sites, and restaurants.

If you have never been to a Bed & Breakfast, let us assure you

• our B&B is casual and comfortable
• you’ll have complete privacy and your own bathroom
• a key is provided so you may come and go as you please
• a guest refrigerator is provided for your convenience
• breakfast conversation is light-hearted and sets the tempo for a great day
• an overview of Galena and the surrounding areas will be provided
• if you like, we’ll set up reservations for you

The complete guest house may be reserved. Please book well in advance to obtain the dates of your choice for a friend or family reunion.

We regret we cannot accommodate children under 12. However, children are welcome if you have reserved the complete house.

No Smoking throughout the guest house.

Smoking Permitted on designated area of ‘Big’ porch or gazebo.

No pets, please.

How do I set up a reservation?

On-line reservations are welcome.

A reservation confirmation will be sent to you.

Rates are based on double occupancy.

We request all reservations be held with a credit card.

What is the Avery cancellation policy?

We require a 10-day cancellation notice prior to the expected date of arrival.

Cancellations within 10 days will be charged the full room rate unless the room can be re-booked for the same reservation dates.

Group reservations of 3 or 4 rooms require a 30-day cancellation notice with the same stipulations as above. We encourage the group coordinator to have each couple (or person) call with their credit card information for guaranteeing their individual room.
